In a computer system, each of operations which have been issued are executed in out-of-order. When they are normally completed, the corresponding part of the state holding means group is rewritten in response to this. After normal completion of all the operations included in the operation group combined with the advance mapping file content modification indicated by the head entry content of the state modification queue is indicated by the corresponding state holding means, the content of the completion mapping file is modified according to the head entry content of the state modification queue. The head entry is excluded from the state modification queue.
