<p>A small section of pipe (7) is mounted between the pipe sections (9), with a support (13) for the energy supply plug (11) mounted to point upwards parallel to and inside the pipe (5); and an energy supply to the plug. The pump (3) includes a sleeve (21) to connect to the plug when it is lowered inside the pipe to the small pipe section, with the sleeve pointed towards the plug : The energy supply to the plug is a cable (15) or pipe from an energy source. The pump is held in the small section of pipe by gravity or is fixed to the pipe or small section of pipe. The energy supply is an electrical feed: in this case the contact plug is in the small section of pipe and the sleeve of the pump is an electrical contact sleeve. Alternatively, the energy supply is a source of hydraulic pressure to the plug, fed to the pump sleeve by an appropriate valve during connection. The supplied equipment, in the case of an immersed pump, has a longitudinal axial configuration allowing its movement in translation down the pipe with, for example, a cylindrical body (19) with a section complementary to the play in translation near the internal section of the pipe. The supply sleeve is coaxial and fixed to the body of the pump so it automatically presents itself centred to the coupling of the plug which is also axially centred in the pipe. The support for the plug is a simple cross-piece or a set of cross-pieces fixed rigidly to the small section of pipe, with the plug fixed rigidly to the cross-piece(s). The energy supply is connected to the outside of the small section of pipe using a casing or insert connected by cables or pipes and sealed to the external wall of the small section of pipe. At least one of the cables or pipes supported by the casing is brought in by a sealed and isolated hole in the cross-piece(s) adequate for the cable or pipe to pass through.</p> |
