To separate an analyte in a solution, fixed to magnetic particles, the particles form a sediment to be separated in a number of bodies. At least one body (22) of magnetic particles is formed in an initial vessel (10) in a base body (2), to be shifted by a magnetic system (20) towards a number of secondary containers (12), to move into them through flow channels (14).
