PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable information described in publication associated with information provided through the Internet to be easily obtained.

SOLUTION: In each page of a map 10, a code CD including data indicating an area described in each page is formed. The code CD is read by a mobile telephone 20, and is transmitted to a Web server 51 of an information management company 50. The code CD is analyzed by the Web server 51 to obtain the data. The Web server 51 extracts the concerned information based on area data among information provided by an information providing company 30 (40). The extracted information is transmitted to the mobile telephone 20 to be displayed.
