<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the heating by reducing a turn-on voltage of a switching means at the time of starting in a rice cooker which has a heating coil operated by at least two different kinds of input power and performs induction-heating. <P>SOLUTION: A first switching means 4 is connected with a first heating coil 2 which induction-heats a pot 1, and a second switching means 8 is connected with a second heating coil 6 which induction-heats the internal surface of a lid 5 which covers the pot 1. Power is fed to the heating coils 2 and 6 by a rectifying means 10 which rectifies an AC power source 9, and minimum values for the ON time of the switching means 4 and 8 are set by a minimum ON time setting means 16. Either one of the switching means 4 and 8 is selected by a controlling means 17 to make the ON-OFF control. The minimum ON time setting means 16 is constituted in such a manner that the minimum ON time setting means 16 has a first minimum ON time and a second minimum ON time which is shorter than the first minimum ON time and sets the first minimum ON time when the first switching means 4 is started set the second minimum ON time when the second switching means 8 is started. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
