<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock monitoring system for monitoring a shock event of assets such as a revolving machine and a reciprocating machine. <P>SOLUTION: The system (10) determines a shock event of assets by determining shock events based on a step that converts signals sensed by converters (20) and (24) that monitor assets, to digitalized signals by sampling the signals using a sampling device (40) connected to the converter in an action-enabled manner, a step that converts the digitalized signals to a plurality of pairs of the maximum values and the minimum values having positions associated with a relative movement of movable members of the assets, using a processor connected to the sampling device in an action-enabled manner, a monitor (30) formed with the processor in an integrated manner or connected to the processor in an action-enabled manner, and a computer controlled state monitor (100), and a step of comparison that compares the pairs of the maximum value and the minimum value, and the position with the known values to protect assets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
