PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking/stop guide apparatus which can carry out route guidance to a parking/stop space, when it is necessary to park/stop a vehicle. SOLUTION: When the vehicle is traveling, and when an operational signal, corresponding to steady gaze inhibiting information is inputted into a control circuit 8, or when an image signal corresponding to the steady gaze prohibition information is outputted to a display device 9, the control circuit 8 searches for a parking/stop space, existing on the guidance route or within a radius of 10 km, for example, from the current position. The control circuit 8 announces that the guidance for the parking/stop is to be conducted and carries out the guidance of the parking/stop, by inputting the parking/stop guidance route from the current position to the parking/stop space into the display device 9, if the operating signal has not been inputted into the control circuit 8, after the lapse of a prescribed time.
