PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistance measurement method for inspecting contact failures in an inverter main circuit, in a short time. SOLUTION: Gate terminals G11, G21, G31 of main circuit elements 11, 21, 31 of the upper arm of each phase are connected one another for integration as a G1 terminal. Gate terminals G12, G22, G32 of main circuit elements 12, 22, 32 of a lower arm are connected one another and are integrated as a G2 terminal. Source/drain terminals S11, D12, S21, D22 and S31, D32 led from the connection point of the main circuit element of the upper/lower arms of each phase are connected one another and are combined as intermediate terminals. By measuring the mutual resistance of a + terminal, a G1 terminal, and an intermediate terminal connected to a power line, the main circuit element of the upper arm of each phase is inspected, and the mutual resistance of a - terminal, a G2 terminal, and a middle terminal connected to a ground line is measured for inspecting the main circuit element of the lower arm of each phase.
