PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide mechanism of a sliding door capable of linearly guiding the sliding door at a specified position but, when the sliding door is opened, capable of eliminating steps and grooves including rails at that opened portion. SOLUTION: A large number of guide blocks 6 are formed by connecting a plurality of parallel vertical wall parts 6a facing in the moving direction of the sliding doors 1 and 2 through connection parts 6b at specified intervals are connected to each other so that the tip sides of the vertical wall parts can be bent in a recessed shape to form the sliding door guide 4. The vertical wall part upper edge of each guide block of the sliding door guide is formed as a guide line 8A, and the sliding door is placed on the guide line 8A. The sliding door guide is fixed to a floor surface so that the sliding door guide does not come out from an opening portion formed by the movement of the sliding door, and the end part of the sliding guide is bent upward to lead it into the sliding door.
