PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration which has a high installation workability, can reduce the number of components by abandoning a member of exclusive use for covering image input terminals, and can scale down the front face of the image recording apparatus in an image recording apparatus for use in a monitoring security system or the like. SOLUTION: A liquid-crystal monitor unit 6 is used as a member for covering connection terminals 78a-78e, and this liquid monitor unit 6 covers the connection terminals 78a-78e in the state where the image recording apparatus 3 is installed. Moreover, the wire-connection work from the front face side of the apparatus is made possible by swinging the liquid crystal monitor unit 6 ahead to expose the connection terminals 78a-78e ahead of the apparatus.
