PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convex glazed ceramic substrate that does not cause rising and chipping at ends of a first glazed layer, does not cause chipping in a thermal printer head manufacturing process. SOLUTION: The glazed ceramic substrate has a first glaze layer on the whole or a part of a ceramic substrate and a convex second glaze layer on the first glaze layer. The first glaze layer is formed up to a pair of ends facing each other of the ceramic substrate, and chamfered portions are provided at both ends, and the arithmetic average roughness Ra of the surface of the chamfered portion is 0.30μm or less.
