PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doctor blade for coated paper which is excellent in wear resistance and has a long life, by which stabilization of a coating profile can be attained at the time of coating starting and outstanding feeling of a coated face can be obtained after coating. SOLUTION: In the doctor blade for coated paper for adjusting amount of a coating liquid coated on coating raw paper by a blade coater, a blade edge portion of the doctor blade coming into contact with the coating raw paper is constituted of material consisting essentially of tungsten.
