<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management system for cartridge for image forming apparatus, a cartridge storage device, and an image forming apparatus, which grasp the state of a cartridge loaded in the image forming apparatus or stored in the cartridge storage device, and easily retrieve a cartridge to be used. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of printers 107 and 115 and the cartridge storage device 101 are interconnected by a network 123, pieces of attached information added to cartridges is gathered from the printers 107 and 115 where cartridges are loaded, and from the cartridge storage device 101 storing cartridges, and the pieces of attached information are related to the printers 107 and 115 and cartridge storage device 101 as gathering sources of the attached information, thereby to manage them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
