<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind power or hydraulic power generator which can assure a power generation by rotating good even when a drive torque is weak. <P>SOLUTION: In a wind or hydraulic power utilization generator, the generator of an axial air gap structure includes a disk-like rotor disk fixed to a drive shaft 1 driven by a wind, a water stream, etc., and a disk-like stator disk fixed to a housing and opposed to the wheel plate surface of the rotor disk via an axial predetermined interval. As an armature coil 32, an air core coil is adopted. The magnetic reluctance of a magnetic circuit, especially the magnetic reluctance of its circumferential magnetic path part is reduced with a yoke disk 31. Particularly suitably, the armature coil 32 is provided at the rotor disk 2.
