<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment system of a melting furnace, which can efficiently utilize the heat of exhaust gas and can also efficiently treat the exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: In the exhaust gas treatment system 10, the exhaust gas generated in a melting furnace is burnt in a secondary combustion chamber 12, and heat exchange thereof with combustion air is then performed in a radiation manner in a heat exchanger 14. The heat-exchanged exhaust gas is mixed with outside air flowing in from an opening part 16A in an air cooler 16 to be air-cooled, so that heavy metals volatilized in the exhaust gas are deposited positively. The air-cooled exhaust gas is rapidly water-cooled by spraying water from a spray pipe 18A in a water cooler 18, and molten fly ash is collected by a collector 20 and exhausted into atmosphere. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
