<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a secondary fire by surely protecting the arranged instruments from the heat of the fire in the case of a fire at a hydrogen station and a periphery. <P>SOLUTION: The disaster preventing facility is used for a hydrogen station 1 which stores liquid hydrogen or compressed hydrogen and supplies the hydrogen to a fuel cell powered vehicle, etc., and comprises a hydrogen detecting apparatus 25 for detecting an abnormal state in the hydrogen station and a fire detecting apparatus 26, jet heads 18 which are arranged so as to face the instruments arranged in the hydrogen station 1 and their peripheries, and jet the jet fluid pressurized and supplied from a jet fluid tank 9 by means of a pump 11 via a jet fluid piping 14, and a control apparatus 19 for protecting the instruments from the heat of the fire by jetting the jet fluid from the jet head 18 by controlling the operation of the pump 11 when an abnormality detecting signal has been input. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
