<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a simple system composition and downsizing of a hydrogen purification system. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen purification system for purifying a hydrogen-containing mixed gas has a layered structure comprising passage plates 101 and 104, a reinforcing plate 105, a hydrogen separation membrane 106 and an end plate 109. The passage plates 101 and 104 alternately form passages for a reformed gas and hydrogen. The reinforcing plate 105 is installed only at the bottom of the hydrogen passage plate 104 and not at the bottom of the reform gas passage plate 104. The bottoms of hydrogen passage plates 104[1] and 104[3] do not have wide opening but only have communicating pores, so they can support the hydrogen separation membrane in place of the reinforcing plate. The application of this structure enables omission of some reinforcing plates and therefore realizes a simple structure and downsizing of the system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
