<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for completely annihilating the mud accumulated at the bottom of a fish farm or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This method for annihilating the mud at the bottom of the fish farm or the like is carried out according to the following four cases, namely, a first case (1) that a micro air generating system composed of only a micro air generator or the micro air generator and a compressor, a micro air aerating unit arranged at the water bottom, a means for sending micro air from the micro air generating system to the micro air aerating unit and a mud treating facility equipped with a cover for covering the mud are used, a second case (2) that the micro air aerating unit described in the first case (1) is an air diffusing pipe, a third case (3) that the micro air aerating unit described in the first case (1) has a housing frame which is arranged at the water bottom and packed with fully ripened compost and an airlift hood which is connected to a float floating on the water surface or a floating body and has a backwashing cover which is arranged in the uppermost part and can be opened/closed by remote control and a fourth case (4) that the micro air generating system, a solar panel being a power source and a battery charger/a battery are loaded on another floating body different from the floating body described in the third case (3).
