PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless discharge lamp device which facilitates mounting of a lighting circuit unit and a lamp unit for structuring the device and laying of a wire, and has an excellent assembling property. SOLUTION: The device is provided with the lighting circuit unit 1 and the lamp unit 2. High frequency current more than a few Hz and less than a few MHz output by a high frequency power supply circuit K1 in the lighting circuit unit 1 is supplied to an induction coil 21 of the lamp unit 2 through a tube light line 3a, connector 4a, connector 4b, and tube light line 3b. A high potential side output end 1a of the high frequency power supply circuit K1 is connected to a high potential side input end 21a of the induction coil 21, and a low potential side output end 1b is connected to a low potential side input end 21b. By detaching and attaching the connectors 4a, 4b, the lighting circuit unit 1 and the lamp unit 2 are connected and separated.
