PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm for a speaker capable of increasing a vibration quantity of the diaphragm without increasing a thickness in a sound radiating direction, and a speaker using this diaphragm for a speaker. SOLUTION: The speaker 10 consists of a diaphragm main body 11 consisting of plate-like bodies 12, 13 so that a side view appears almost V shape; a magnetic circuit 19 consisting of a yoke 16, a magnet 17, and a plate 18; a driving body X composed of a voice coil 21 disposed around this magnetic circuit 19 and a damper 20; and a frame 23 additionally provided on the magnetic circuit 19 of the driving body X. In this speaker 10, at least one end of the diaphragm main body 11 divided into two portions is coupled to a bobbin 22 of the voice coil 21 constituting the driving body X.
