PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize cash information among a plurality of commerce servers and reduce inconsistencies of the cash information among the servers. SOLUTION: A data processing method for performing data processing required in access processing to a merchandise database 103 comprises a step of receiving an update request for data and instructing data update required from the received update request; a step of accepting the data updating instruction to generate a management ID to identify the data to be an update target updated according to the update request and updating expiration date of the data identified by the generated management ID; and a step of notifying the expiration date of the updated cash data to other data processors.
