PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the costs of a memory device in which a program is rewritable. SOLUTION: A boot program is stored in a boot ROM 1, and a main program other than the boot program is stored in a NAND type flash memory 2. For starting, a CPU 5 reads the boot program from the boot ROM 1, and carries out it on the boot ROM 1.
