PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing tool of which the forgery is discriminated at a glance by irradiation of ultraviolet rays to enable wrongdoing using the forgery to be easily found out even in the case that the forged sealing tool is attached after wrongdoing. SOLUTION: A sealing tool A is provided with a main body part 1 made of a synthetic resin and a cap 2 which is fitted into the main body part 1 and is made of a synthetic resin, and is to be fitted to the head part 27 of a sealing screw 26 projecting from the outside surface of a terminal box 22, and the cap 2 contains a fluorescent material which emits light by irradiation of ultrasonic rays. The state of the fluorescent material emitting light by irradiation of ultraviolet rays is made visible from the outside, so that whether the sealing tool is genuine or forgery is discriminated at a glance in accordance with light emission or non-emission.
