PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a static pressure air bearing characterized to be controlled by leaking air in the following reason: therefore it needs the air pressure reduction for the static pressure air bearing; a ball bearing or a journal bearing are applied for a bearing unit for automobile according to the conventional technology and the lubricant is used for these lubrication; consequently there is such a problem that the viscous frictional resistance in the bearing unit increases at the time of high speed rotation of a rotating body and the fuel efficiency falls off, so that the viscous friction resistance is made extremely small in a bearing by using a static pressure air bearing, and an air pressure source for the bearing is secured when the static pressure air bearing is applied for automobile. SOLUTION: The static pressure air bearing floated by air is used as a bearing unit to solve the above problem and the means is adopted to compose so that the exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine is used as the air pressure source.
