PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cock of which the operability and durability are not remarkably impaired even when it is exposed to high temperature like never before, and of which the fracture and the inability to rotate hardly occur. SOLUTION: A gas flow channel 14 and a cock body sliding face 15 are formed inside of a main body 10 of this gas cock 1. In the main body 10, a clock body 30 having an outer sliding face 31 is rotatably mounted. The outer sliding face 31 of the cock body 30 is provided with recessed parts 35 as storage parts of lubricant including graphite, in a dispersed state, and is coated with a graphite film. This gas cock 1 can reduce the probability of seizure of the main body 10 and the cock body 30 under high temperature environment, and can be rotated with low operating force.
