PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin composition for a metal-laminating film, which performs good retort resistance and flavor retainability, without deteriorating flavor of contents when being applied to a laminate film for a metal can for a foodstuff and beverage. SOLUTION: The polyester resin composition for the metal-laminating film is composed of (A) a polyethylene terephthalate or a polyester constituted mainly thereof with (B) a polybutylene terephthalate or a polyester constituted mainly thereof. Wherein the mass ratio of the polyester (A) to the polyester (B) is 10:90-55:45; a content of an oligomer is≤0.5 mass%; and the content of the oligomer is≤0.6 mass% after melting the composition at 290°C for 10 min.
