PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular air conditioner capable of inexpensively reducing noise of an air blower. SOLUTION: A rear outer peripheral wall of a shutter box 110 is molded so as to projectingly extend in a plate shape to the vehicle right side. That is, this projecting part (a sound insulating plate) 115 is integrally molded with the shutter box 110. The sound insulating plate 115 is arranged in the rear with respect to an inside air introducing port 111, and shields the inside air introducing port 111 exposed in a cabin from an occupant seating position. Thus, blower noise leaking in the cabin is reduced. The sound insulating plate 115 is attached with an actuator 114 having a constituent part such as a motor and a gear mechanism having large mass. Thus, since the sound insulating plate 115 fixed with the actuator 114 apparently becomes a state of increasing in mass of the sound insulating plate 115 itself, its resonance frequency reduces. Thus, a resonance phenomenon can be prevented in a high frequency band offensive to the ear of an occupant. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
