PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the reproduction of an image by any other person with the help of a used master, when a secrecy keeping mode is preset. SOLUTION: In this stencil printing apparatus, when the secrecy keeping mode is preset, a control means executes a process to release and eject the master 8b used in a printing operation from a printing drum 2 by immediately controlling a stencil ejection device 6 as soon as the printing operation is ended. Even in case the used master 8b is released and stored in an ejected stencil box 28, it is possible to easily read or reproduce an image by picking up the used master 8b from the ejected stencil box 28. In order to eliminate this kind of risk, a warning "ejected stencils fully loaded"is displayed, whatever storage capacity of the ejected stencil box 28 may be. Thus an operator is encouraged to put into practice the waste disposal of the used masters 8b stored in the ejected stencil box 28. The warning display does not disappear until the operator is through with the waste disposal.
