PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of becoming immovable by slipping-out of a Fusuma(sliding screen) when the height cannot be successfully adjusted or damaging the threshold and a Tatami when clearance between the sliding screen and the threshold is small when removing the sliding screen from the threshold, due to being difficult in work in a narrow place where a height adjusting part exists in the uppermost stage of the sliding screen, for requiring to adjust the height in the center and at the end of the threshold, when adjusting the height so that the sliding screen does not slip out of the threshold, since the threshold for installing the sliding screen has a height difference between a central part and both end parts. SOLUTION: This Fusuma is constituted so as to finish a height adjustment of the sliding screen by adjusting a height adjusting part 3 only by a target adjusting quantity by loosely fastening a bolt 2 while looking at a display of a moving distance from an upper part of the height adjusting part 3 of the sliding screen in the center of the threshold, by pushing up the height adjusting part 3 in the upward direction by force of a spring 5, by installing the spring 5 inside the height adjusting part 3 of the sliding screen. Thus, if the sliding screen is higher than the end height of the threshold, the sliding screen does not become rapidly immovable since the adjusting part 3 moves downward by external pressure.
