PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a ferrule which reduces sharp changes in stresses applied to an optical fiber, the optical fiber with ferrule and a device which uses the optical fiber with ferrule. SOLUTION: This invention relates to improvement in the ferrule which fixes the coated optical fiber by adhesive. The ferrule is provided with a holder having a storage pore, into which a coated part of the optical fiber is inserted and a capillary, in which the storage pore of the holder is coupled with an outer peripheral surface and having micropores which fix the optical fiber from which coating is removed and the diameter of the micropore of the capillary is the size, that the adhesive for adhering the optical fiber from which the coating is removed, becomes a shock absorbing material.
