<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fault in a driving device that drives the switching elements of an inverter device. <P>SOLUTION: The inverter device comprises: a first and a second switching elements that are connected in series with each other and are connected in inverse parallel with a diode, respectively; the driving device that alternately on/off-drives the first and second switching elements; a load circuit connected with the middle point between the first and second switching elements; and a capacitor connected in parallel with the second switching element. A series circuit is connected in parallel with the second switching element which series circuit comprises: a diode that is quicker in forward direction conduction time and lower in forward direction voltage than the diode on the side of the second switching element; and a positive characteristic thermistor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
