<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting diode array apparatus in which the unevenness of electrode resistors is reduced and which has high connecting reliability of a common electrode and to provide an LED printer. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting diode array apparatus includes a plurality of light emitting diodes 10 arrayed on a high resistance substrate 1. A light emitting element group having N pieces of the light emitting diodes includes individual electrodes 4 connected commonly to the light emitting diode in the same light emitting element group, and a common electrode 50 connected to a predetermined light emitting diode belonging to a different group. The light emitting diodes 10 of m-th light emitting element group of M group of the light emitting element group are sequentially connected to the first common electrode 5h of a far side from the first common electrode 5a of the side nearest to the light emitting diode array of the N pieces of the common electrodes. The light emitting diodes 10 of the light emitting element group adjacent to the m-th light emitting element group are sequentially connected to the first common electrode 5a of the near side from the first common electrode 5h of the side farthest from the light emitting diode array of the N pieces of the common electrodes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
