SILICONE SPONGE RUBBER ROLLER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a silicone sponge rubber roller using a carbon dioxide which can construct a silicone sponge rubber roller having low hardness.

SOLUTION: The method comprises a dipping process of impregnating a millable type silicone rubber material 7 made by coating a core material 3 with a silicone sponge rubber roller 1 with a carbon dioxide 11 in a supercritical state at 50-130°C for several minutes to 24 hours, a foaming process of reducing the pressure of a carbon dioxide 11 to pressure lower than the critical pressure to foam the millable type silicone rubber material 7 and a primary vulcanization process of heating the millable type silicone rubber material 7 to form a body 5 of the silicone sponge rubber roller.
