<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller and a control method of a motor driven 4WD vehicle in which the arrangement can be simplified. <P>SOLUTION: The controller of a motor driven 4WD vehicle comprises a 42V alternator 2 being driven through an engine 1 to generate a 42 V three-phase AC power, a step-up/down inverter 3 for rectifying the three-phase AC power generated from the 42V alternator 2 and stepping it down to a 14 V DC power, and a 14V battery E1 being charged with the 14 V DC power outputted from the step-up/down inverter 3. The 42 V AC power outputted from the 42V alternator 2 is rectified by a diode bridge circuit 14 and a motor M1 is rotary driven using the rectified DC power thus achieving 4WD operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
