<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous material of calcium phosphate ceramic having excellent new bone forming property and high mechanical strength and a method for the production of the porous material. <P>SOLUTION: The porous material of calcium phosphate ceramic has a supporting part 1 having pores 11 and a ring-shaped part 2 formed in the pore 11 and having a network structure.
