<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a solar cell element having high electrical characteristics, without decreasing the strength of a baked electrode, even if it is dipped in hydrofluoric acid, when there is an aluminum electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the solar cell element includes a semiconductor substrate having a photoelectric conversion action, and the electrode formed by coating the surface of this semiconductor substrate with a metal paste containing a glass component and baking it. The electrode has a first electrode and a second electrode containing an aluminum.
