<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Pachinko machine improving an effect by performing the variable display of special pattern with a sound effect. <P>SOLUTION: A time required from starting the variable display of the special pattern based on a first retention (2) till finishing the variable display of the special pattern based on a forth retention (5) is set in a continuation-time sound output time when outputting a continuous variable sound effect. When the variable display of the special pattern based on the first retention (2) is started, the continuation-time sound output time is set in a sound output timer, the continuous variable sound effect is reproduced simultaneously with the starting of the variable display of the special pattern, and the reproduction of the continuous variable sound effect is finished simultaneously with the finishing of the variable display of the special pattern based on the forth retention (5).
