COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, ITS CONTROL METHOD, AND CONTROL PROGRAM OF COMMUNICATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform voice communication or image communication continuously through an extremely simple operation without performing useless call connection in a communication apparatus performing voice communication or image communication through an IP network and its control method and control program.

SOLUTION: In the first session telephone conversation or image communication, an image communication apparatus 105 acquires the IP address of a telephone conversation partner device from an SIP proxy 104 and in the second session image communication or telephone conversation being started subsequently by a predetermined user operation, connection is made with the telephone conversation partner device using the IP address thereof acquired through first communication session without using the SIP service. If the partner's IP address acquired through first communication session cannot be used, the user is forced to manually input the connection information of a partner performing image communication or telephone conversation in the second communication session.
