METHOD FOR CONNECTING SOLENOID AND LEAD FRAME AND ASSEMBLY OF SOLENOID AND LEAD FRAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a means for simultaneously connecting a plurality of solenoid valves to a lead frame having durability against vibration an automatic transmission of a vehicle experiences.

SOLUTION: A lead frame 10 has slots 16 therein for bayonet type connection to electrical terminals provided on a solenoid valve or a group of solenoid valves. Projections 18, 20 on the lead frame 10 are disposed between the slots 16 and, upon bayonet connection to the terminals, put in a close contact with a web disposed between the terminals on the solenoid. Support stanchions are provided for the terminals and may be integrally molded with the web.
