PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition suitable for use in forming a flexible waveguide, and the flexible waveguide, and provide a method for forming the flexible waveguide and an electronic device including the flexible waveguide. SOLUTION: The waveguide composition contains a primary component for changing solubility of the composition in a dry state when it is activated and a secondary component containing two or more functional groups selected from hydroxy, amino, thiol, sulfonate ester, carboxylate ester, silyl ester, anhydride, aziridine, methylolmethyl, silyl ether and their combinations, in a polymer having a unit expressed by the formula (RSiO<SB>1.5</SB>) (wherein R expresses a substituted or unsubstituted organic group) and two or more functional terminal groups.
