PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the operation reliability of a refrigeration air conditioner by reliably supplying refrigerating machine oil to a compression mechanism section or a bearing section in starting in a compressor using a CO<SB>2</SB>refrigerant. SOLUTION: A heating apparatus 16 for heating the refrigerating machine oil and an oil temperature detector 17 for detecting the temperature of the refrigerating machine oil are provided. When temperature detected by the oil temperature detector 17 is lower than a temperature set based on density inversion temperature, where a relation in the level of density between the refrigerating machine oil and the refrigerant is inverted, the refrigerating machine oil is heated by the heating apparatus 16. Additionally, the heater is stopped, when heating is made to temperature in which the density of the refrigerating machine oil becomes fully larger than that of a CO<SB>2</SB>liquid refrigerant.
