PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a squeak preventive roller usable for a paper feeding carrier roller and a paper sheet separating roller, superior in abrasion resistance, and capable of preventing a squeak. SOLUTION: This squeak preventive roller is composed of polyurethane foam provided by using a chain extension agent composed of bifunctional short chain diol and a cross-linking agent composed of trifunctional or more of polyol, for a prepolymer using caprolactone type diol.
