PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state imaging element capable of suppressing the generation of color shading. SOLUTION: The solid state imaging element 100 comprises a plurality of photoelectric conversion regions arranged in the direction of rows orthogonal to that of lines on a semiconductor substrate. The element is provided with RGB color filters 107-109 formed above the plurality of photoelectric conversion regions one by one so as to be coping with respective plurality of photoelectric conversion regions, and mixed color filters 110-112 formed between mutual two color filters neighbored to the color filters 107-109 and having both of respective spectral characteristics provided by two neighbored color filters.
