PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passage way device of construction machinery capable of preventing the breakage of a step by earth and sand, a rock or the like during the work. SOLUTION: The construction machinery equipped with a traveling body 1 and a swiveling body 2 provided on the traveling body 1 in a turnable manner comprises a first tread 23 provided before it reaches the rear side from the front side of the swiveling body 2, a second tread 24 capable of being stored in the first tread 23 side and provided before it reaches the rear side of the swiveling body 2 from the rear end of the first tread 23 and a supporting means 26 provided to the rear section side of the swiveling body 2 for supporting the second tread 24. Even if the swiveling body 2 thereby collides with earth and sand, a rock or the like during the work, the second tread 24 is not broken and, at the same time, when inspection and maintenance are carried out in the case the work starts or in the case the work has been completed, an operator moves on the first tread 23 and the second tread 24 to carry out the inspection and maintenance by projecting the second tread 24, the inspection and maintenance can be safely carried out within a short period of time.
