PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque sensor for electric power steering that is capable of synthetic resin integral molding and reducing costs. SOLUTION: Subjected to one-piece molding to a housing 12 made of a synthetic resin are a bobbin 31 that has a coil winding section 31A, and a bearing inner end engagement section 31E extended from the inner surface of one side end of the coil winding section 31A in the radius direction, and is made of a synthetic resin, coils 32A, 32B wound around the coil winding section 31A of the bobbin 31, a bearing 16 for bringing the inner end of an outer ring 16A into contact with the bearing inner end engagement section 31E of the bobbin 31, and a collar 39 that is fitted to the outer periphery of the outer ring 16A of the bearing 16 and brings the inner end into contact with one side end of the bobbin 31, and has a bearing outer end engagement section 39A engaged to the outer end of the outer ring 16A at the outer end.
