PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide anα-radioactivity measuring apparatus and anα-radioactivity measuring method capable of spreading a measuring gas over into an inner hole to allow accurate measurement, even when a measuring object has a complicated shape such as a pipe and a valve, and theα-radioactivity measuring apparatus capable of reducing an expense for an exhaust treatment facility. SOLUTION: Thisα-radioactivity measuring apparatus wherein a radioactive waste H is stored in an ionization chamber 2 passed therethrough with the measuring gas, and wherein an ionization current of the measuring gas exhausted from the ionization chamber 2 is measured by an ionization current measuring apparatus 3 to measure theα-radioactivity of the radioactive waste H is provided with a rotary table 2a rotated while supporting the radioactive waste H in the ionization chamber 2.
