PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood inspection technique for reducing the amount of blood sampled, and reducing the physical load of a person whose blood is to be sampled. SOLUTION: The vacuum blood sampling tube is used, where a blood sampling tube body 1 for accommodating the sampled blood and an outer cylinder 5 for accommodating the blood sampling tube body 1, so that it can relatively travel axially. Blood count measurement is made, in a state with the blood sampling tube body 1 being accommodated in the outer cylinder 5, and then approximately, half from the tip of the blood sampling tube body 1 is allowed to project from the outer cylinder 5 for measuring blood sedimentation. In this manner, the evacuated blood sampling tubes for measuring blood count and blood sedimentation are shared, thus dispensing with individual blood sampling for each measurement (only one blood sampling is sufficient), and reducing the amount of blood sampled.
