HEPATIC CELL DETECTING OR SEPARATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting or separating hepatic cells in a specimen in a non-destructive manner. SOLUTION: A method for detecting the hepatic cells in the specimen using Neuritin on the surface of the cells as an index and a method for separating the hepatic cells in the specimen using Neuritin on the surfaces of the cells as an index are provided. Since the hepatic cells in the specimen can be detected or separated in a non-destructive manner by this method for detecting or separating the hepatic cells, the hepatic cells can be used in the transplantation of the hepatic cells or an artificial liver. Especially, the adaptation of this method to a specimen containing hepatic cells of infancy enables the detection or separation of the hepatic cells of infancy. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
