摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape memory alloy actuator by which relationship between the deformation quantity in a shape memory alloy and the movement quantity of a V-shaped actuator tip can be represented by a simple function and the position control of a tip of an actuator is precisely and easily carried out, and a massager using the shape memory alloy actuator. SOLUTION: The a shape memory alloy actuator is equipped with an activating member 1 made up of a coil-shaped, bar-shaped or plate-shaped shape memory alloy, a control part 7 for controlling the shape of the activating member 1 by imparting a prescribed heat quantity to the activating member 1 so as to delivery shape memory effect, and a pressurizing mechanism 2 for applying pressure opposite to a deforming direction when the activating member 1 deliveries the shape memory effect. The pressurizing mechanism 2 is equipped with a V-shaped link mechanism in which one ends of two bar-shaped members 3 are rotatably coupled to each other and the other ends are mutually engaged in a longitudinal direction of the activating member 1, and with an elastic body 6 arranged between two bar-shaped members 3.
