PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily install and remove a rooftop safety device from the rooftop; and to install the device in a roof ridge part of a different roof pitch, in the rooftop safety device for installing a winding type lifeline on a column. SOLUTION: A base metal fitting 25 is fixed to a base part of the column 4 attached with the winding type lifeline 5. A hinge metal fitting 27 is rotatably and fixably joined to the base metal fitting 25. A bracket 30 is joined to the hinge metal fitting 27. A bolt 35 is inserted into the bracket 30 from the rooftop, and is threadedly engaged with a welding nut 34 fixed to a purlin 22. The column 4 is fixed to the roof ridge part 20. The bolt 35 is attached-detached from the rooftop. Thus, since this device can be easily installed and removed, installation and removal work in an attic space part is not required, and workability can be improved.
